Support

Noisy Neighbour is built and supported by a small team. Email us and a person reads it — there is no ticket robot in between.

Response time

Within two working days, UK hours.

It helps enormously if you include the site's name or address, roughly when the problem happened, and whether you run the site or joined it as a neighbour.

Common requests

Delete your account and everything in it

Settings → Delete account. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is two-phase. Your account is locked immediately, and after a 30-day grace period everything is purged for good. If you run sites: a site only you belong to is deleted with the account — its issues, notices, messages, photos and documents included — while a site shared with other team members is transferred to one of them so its record survives, and your contributions in it are anonymised. If you joined a site as a neighbour or another stakeholder: your link to the site is removed and your details erased; the issues you raised stay in the site's record with your name, address line and contact details taken out.

Changed your mind inside the 30 days, or can't reach the screen? Email us and we'll sort it.

Get a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it

Email us from the address on your account and tell us what you need. We respond to access, correction, erasure and portability requests within one month, as required by UK and EU data-protection law.

What we hold and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.

You scanned the code but can't join, or a link has stopped working

Join links are issued per site, and a site team can replace theirs at any time — so a code printed months ago may be out of date. Ask the site team for the current one. If the site has finished or its portal has been switched off, the page will say so; nothing is wrong with your account.

Too many emails, or none at all

Every notification email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can set how much you hear from a site — everything, important notices only, or nothing — in the portal at any time. If you expect mail and see none, check your spam folder first, then that the address on your account is the one you meant.

A team member can't see a site you shared

Invitations are sent by email and have to be accepted before access starts. Ask them to check the invitation email, including their spam folder. A site admin can re-send or revoke an invitation from the site's team list.

Who can see what you post

An issue you raise is private to the site team and the property's homeowner (and, in a block of flats, the building manager) — never to other neighbours, and never on the site's public page. If the site team wants to publish it as a notice for the street, your identity is included only with your consent.

The full position is in the Privacy Policy.
