Noisy Neighbour

Keep neighbours informed
during building works.

Noisy Neighbour gives your building site a public web page. Neighbours scan a QR code on the hoarding to see upcoming noisy work, deliveries and skip collections, and to report a problem directly to the site team. Nothing for neighbours to install. For builders, homeowners and managing agents.

How it works

How the site page works

Neighbours do not need an app or a phone number. The QR code opens a web page, and everything happens on that page.

01

Put the QR code on the hoarding

Print the QR sheet and fix it to the hoarding or the front of the property. Anyone who scans it opens your site page, which shows who is doing the work, the working hours, and the upcoming notices.

02

Neighbours report problems

A neighbour picks a category such as noise, dust or parking, describes the problem, and can add a photo. The site team is notified straight away. Neighbours do not need to install an app or phone anyone.

03

The site team responds

The team replies in the same thread, with photos of the fix if useful. The neighbour sees when the issue was acknowledged and when it was resolved, and can confirm it is sorted.

Who it's for

Who uses Noisy Neighbour

Most site pages are set up by the builder. A homeowner or a residents' trust can set one up in the same way and invite the builder to it.

Builders

Neighbours contact your team through the site page instead of at the gate or by phone. Every issue and reply is recorded, so you can show how a complaint was handled if it is ever escalated.

Homeowners and neighbours

If you are having work done on your home, you can set up the site page yourself and invite your builder. Your neighbours see the plan for the works and have a direct way to raise concerns.

Managing agents and residents' trusts

For works on a block or estate, give residents one place to follow the programme and report problems, instead of handling every query by email and phone.

Councils and surveyors

A visible neighbour liaison route with a dated record, which an environmental health officer or a party wall surveyor can read without relaying anything. No cost to the council, and no endorsement asked for.

Notices

Site notices: tell neighbours what is coming

Post a notice once. It is emailed to every neighbour who has joined the site page and shown on a calendar that anyone with the link can see. Use it for noisy work, deliveries, skip collections, scaffolding and utility interruptions.

Noisy work

Give notice of demolition, cutting, drilling and concrete pours, with the expected hours.

Deliveries

Tell neighbours when a lorry is due and where it needs to park, so the road is clear in time.

Skips and waste collections

Post when a skip is arriving or being collected, so neighbours can move cars and bins.

Milestones

Announce scaffold going up or coming down, and when the works will finish.

The issue log

A written record of every neighbour issue

Problems reach the site team directly, so they can be dealt with before anyone contacts the council. The neighbour can see that the issue was acknowledged and resolved, and the team keeps a dated record of how it was handled.

Every issue is logged

Each issue records who raised it, when it was acknowledged, when it was resolved, and whether the neighbour confirmed the fix. The full history is kept for the life of the site.

No phone number on the hoarding

The public site page shows your company name and working hours only. Neighbours send messages through the page, and your team replies when it suits them.

The homeowner sees everything

The homeowner can see every issue and every notice on the site page, so they do not need to ask the builder how the neighbours are getting on.

Pricing
