For homeowners having work done

Keep the neighbours on side while the builders are in.

You will live next to these people long after the scaffold comes down. Noisy Neighbour gives your house a page the street can read: what is happening each week, and a direct way to raise a problem that reaches the builder and you at the same time.

Sound familiar?

Three things that go wrong without a page

01

You only hear about it afterwards

The neighbour spoke to the builder about the radio, the builder forgot to mention it, and you find out when you are asked about it over the fence.

02

A knock on the door at nine at night

Without a better route, the only way to complain about your builder is to complain to you. Every problem on the site becomes a conversation on your doorstep.

03

The party wall award asks for notice

Awards commonly require you to give notice of noisy works and to keep access routes clear. A page with dated notices is the record you will want if that is ever questioned.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

Nothing for neighbours to install. The QR code opens a web page, and everything happens on that page.

01

Set up the page for your address

Enter your address and the working hours agreed with your builder. The page shows the street who is doing the work and when.

02

Invite your builder

Send the join link to your builder's team. They post the notices and answer the issues, and you see all of it without having to ask.

03

Put the QR sheet on the front

Fix the printed sheet to the hoarding, the front wall or the skip. Neighbours scan it to read the page and to leave an email for notices.

Questions

What people ask before they start

Do I need my builder to agree?

You set the page up yourself and invite the builder to it. Most builders prefer a page to a stream of calls; if yours will not use it, you can still post the notices and read the issues yourself.

What does it cost?

£5 per site per week, bought as prepaid weeks, with 10 weeks for £45 (save 10%), 20 weeks for £75 (save 25%). Neighbours never pay and there is no per-neighbour charge. Everything is free for your first 7 days, with no card needed to start.

Is my address public?

The page shows the address, the working hours and the name of the builder. It does not show your name, your phone number or anything about the inside of the house.

Do neighbours need to install anything?

No. The QR code opens an ordinary web page. A neighbour who wants the notices by email leaves an address; everyone else just reads the page.

What about my party wall award?

The page is a good place to give the notice of noisy works that many awards require, and the dated record is useful if a surveyor is ever asked to look back at what was done.
